MINISTRIES
We have a variety of ministries here at Shelby Road Baptist Church. We'd love for you to become a part of them. So check out some brief descriptions below and be sure to reach out if you'd like more information.
Youth Ministry
SRBC Youth is our ministry to 6th through 12th grade students at Shelby Road.
This ministry, led by Youth Pastor Joey Powell, is geared toward creating an atmosphere of authenticity, worship, growth, and crazy.
SRBC Worship
Our worship ministry, works to provide the worship experience for Shelby Road gatherings. We love to worship here at SRBC, and our musicians and vocalists help us keep that passion going.

Kid's Ministry
SRBC Kids is a vibrant and fun kids ministry reaching ages from pre-school through 5th grade.
Each week, our kids are exposed to God's Word and challenged to memorize it so they can begin to build a strong spiritual foundation.
Groups
Here at Shelby Road, we are a church of groups. Our groups ministry is made up of two categories:

Our Community Groups are made up of 15-60 people in similar stages of life who gather for prayer and in-depth bible study on Sundays following our morning service.
Available Community Groups:
- Young Adults (18-young 30s)
- Young Families (30s-40s)
- 35-55
- 55-65
- PrimeTimers (65+)

Our Life Groups are small groups made up of 8-12 people in similar stages of life who connect frequently, care and pray for one another, and apply God's Word to their daily lives.
Prime Timers
Our Prime Timers group is our ministry to those in our church who are 65 and over.

This crew, led by our Seniors Ministry Director Scott Peyton is not only one of our Community Groups, but they also gather for dinners, game nights, color tours, and many other events.
